Four Voices, One Heart…Motherwort is a farmer folk punk band Interlaken and Ithaca, NY based band that started playing music together in a beautiful old barn at Interbrook Farm in 2017. Our musical remedy sessions for life, love and loss spawned more cathartic songs than we can sing in one afternoon.
Bubba Crumrine’s third studio release, “Center & Blur,” is anchored in voice, synth, and percussion and threads a line between ambient, noise, and cantor music. Dense instrumentals pair with queer lyrical themes of discovery, protest, and a future, post-gender world.
Crumrine’s work coalesced live in 2013, with a subsequent cassette split with Lucas Brode in 2014. They returned to the studio for 2018’s How Brightly Can You Burn? (The Death Of Youth) – a reflection of generational transition and loss. Overall, their compositions strive for a reclamation of voice, both inner and outer, encouraging other experimental artists in the queer community to do the same.
Emma Vulnerability – Emma is a Queer musician and artist living in Ithaca, New York. Her solo work is the capstone of years of teeth cutting social and sonic experiments in underground music. Emma performs with the heavy psych rock trio Spazzare in addition to her solo musical projects
