The Friends of the Ithaca Farmers Market (IFM) is announcing its first fundraising event, The Battle of the (Farm) Bands. Farmers Market affiliated bands will compete Sunday, October 9 starting at 5pm at IFM’s Steamboat Landing pavilion, 545 3rd Street. Special thanks to our food and drink vendors who will be serving up delish eats and who, along with local businesses, have donated raffle and silent auction. A special thanks to Serendipity Catering whose gorgeous lighting will create the perfect ambience for the evening.

Families are encouraged to attend together. Stay tuned for more details on confirmed food and drink vendors as well as kid-friendly activities. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $10/person or $20/family. AND, guests will receive one free raffle ticket for every $5 donated.

The bands, battling for bragging rights and a special performance at Hopshire Brewing, are listed below with their farm affiliation. Vote for a band during their performance by placing a tip in their tip jar!
